Allegiant Airlines has one or two flights/ wk to/from Las Vegas.

Via Greyhound bus.
Car rental agencies available include: Alamo (airport), Avis (airport), Budget, Enterprise (airport), Express, Hertz (airport), National (airport), & Thrifty (airport shuttle).
We haven't seen any unusual fruit virus diseases in recent years, but we will do our best to show you what we do have while you are here.
If any of you are interested in fishing and would like to arrive early (as was the case for the NC-140 meeting last Nov.), I'd be willing to organize a fishing trip or provide tips on where to go. We do have a Gold Medal river, the Gunnison River, within an hour's drive and there are many lakes / reservoirs on the Grand Mesa (10,000 ft elev.) immediately to our East. Gold Medal waters are fly & lure fishing only, some catch and release only; on the Gunnison River, one can keep brown trout (size determined), but one must release all rainbows at this time.
The lakes and reservoirs on the top of the Mesa include both drive-to and walk-in lakes in beautiful spruce-fir forest settings. And the Crag Crest Trail (10 mi round trip) is a National Scenic Trail that runs the backbone of the Grand Mesa (elev. to 10,800 ft) with 200 - 500 ft drop-offs on each side of it. I have some nice photos of it that I can share if anyone would like to look at them before deciding to try it (the trail mostly is pretty broad with outstanding viewpoints, only has a couple of places that are narrower than 20 ft width).
