It's time to plan to attend the annual S-294 meeting, which will again be held in conjunction with the annual United Fresh Convention. Our S-294 meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 20th from 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

The United Fresh 2010 convention details are below:

Tuesday, April 20th, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm à S-294 meeting.

The keynote general session will be on Tuesday, April 20th at 3:00 pm.

Wednesday, April 21st, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm United Fresh Trade Show; 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Trade Show happy hour (Poster competition)

Thursday, April 22nd, 11:30 am - 5:00 pm, United Fresh Trade Show

Friday, April 23rd, 8:00 am  5:00 pm, Global Conference on Produce Sustainability

United Fresh 2010 returns to the beautiful Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino. The Palazzo is connected directly with the Sands Expo & Convention Center which houses our trade show, and all education and meeting rooms. The Palazzo hotel is an all-suites property and room rates are very affordable at only $219 a night! In addition to the Palazzo Hotel Resort and Casino, United Fresh is offering a discounted convention rate the Mirage Hotel and Casino, located right across the street from the Palazzo. The discount rate at the Mirage is only $115 a night.

he S-294 meeting will be in conjunction of International Fresh-cut Produce Association annual Meeting in Baltimore - MD. Dates of the meetings are as follows: IFPA April 26-29, 2006. S-294 April 30, 2006. Poster session for S-294/IFPA will be on Friday April 28, 2006. Please, keep in mind that Free IFPA Registration will be awarded to all members of S-294 provided they will present a poster. Deadline for submitting an abstract is March 10, 2006.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Radisson across from the convention center at the Inner Harbor for S-294 members. The rate will be $125 plus Tax. Information regarding area, hotel, dinning, etc...are attached. Also, I have attached the letter of intent which contains information needed for reserving the room and the contact information. The code for reservations is USDA/S-294 when contacting the hotel directly or PRODUC when making reservations on-line. THESE RATES ARE AVAILABLE UNTIL April 3, 2006. So, please make your reservation ASAP.
