The year 2002 annual meeting of the WCC-208 "Western Region Impact Statement Development" has been authorized for Monday, February 11th through Thursday, February 14th in Ft. Collins, CO. Plan to arrive by Monday afternoon (flights into Denver, Colorado) for an opening meeting Monday night, a full day of meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday, and plan for a short continuation meeting on Thursday. Departure will be on Thursday afternoon. The Virginia Dale Room has been reserved in the CSU Student Center for the meeting. A block of rooms has been set aside at $74.50, single occupancy ($84.50 for double occupancy), for meeting participants at the University Park Holiday Inn. Call 970-482-2626 to make reservations and mention CSU Cooperative Extension event when making the reservation. The block of rooms will be held until January 11, 2002, please make your reservations by that time. Travel information between Denver and Ft. Collins and meal accommodations will be forwarded to the participants at a later time.

We request that Western Directors and Deans submit individual state impacts to the national database by February 8, 2002. Also, if possible, include pictures and graphics for the Best of West impacts. We developed a preliminary list of impact topics as follows:
