- The venue for the meeting will be the same as the last two years, Natchez Trace Resort State Park, near Wildersville, TN. The dates are October 17, 18, and 19. You may make your room reservations by calling 800-250-8616. The group code number is 1445 or tall fescue group. They have single, double, and villas (~ 3 adults in a cabin) available.
As discussed last year, we are planning an opening barbecue for the Sunday evening meal. George Rottinghaus graciously agreed to coordinate the BBQ and is planning on steak, baked potatoes, and salad with an anticipated cost of $10-15 per person, depending on steak prices. Because of the perishable nature of food, it is imperative that we have a head count for the BBQ; therefore, if you plan to attend the BBQ please email George at rottinghausG@missouri.edu.
We are asking that your station report follow the same format as last year (Contributing station; Project Personnel; Progress of Work; Accomplishments; Impacts; Publications). David Lang is our secretary this year and will be collating our reports. To facilitate copying and binding of the proceedings Dr. Lang has asked that the reports be sent to him by October 1, 2004. Electronic copies of the report can be sent to his email at dlang@pss.msstate.edu.
Last but not least, please check with your local administrators to determine if your station has completed the paper work for your participation in the project. You may recall that Craig Roberts submitted the project re-write last year; however, at that time not all stations had completed the paper work for participation. Also, please forward this email to all interested parties not on the email list.
