Additional Info:: The NE1231 Eastern Regional Potato Variety Development project (formerly NE1031) Meeting will be on Tuesday, 5 February 2013, 1PM to 5PM and Wednesday 6 February 2013, 8AM to noon. Location: Hampton Inn Downtown Waterfront, 209 Fore Street, Portland, ME 04101; 207-775-1454 (1-800-426-7786); www.hamptonportland.com. Make your reservations by phone or online using the UMO group code by January 7, 2013 (the block will revert to general public after that date). The block of Rooms is under University of Maine Orono or Group code: UMO. Room includes breakfast and complimentary shuttle from the airport (call the airport when you arrive). It takes about 10-15 minutes to get from the airport to downtown. Must reserve by January 7, 2013 (or the block will revert to general public). Room Rate: $129/night. Parking is $15 per day. Anticipated NE1231 Meeting Registration will be in the $30-40 per person range to help cover the meeting room and refreshments.
