- Our meeting is set to take place in conjunction with Murphy-Brown on November 15th in Warsaw, NC. Meeting will be from 8am to 3pm and then a tour from 3pm to 5pm (See not below). And meet again from 8am to noon on the 16th. Lodging will be at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Warsaw, NC. This meeting will take place after the NC Swine Nutrition Conference in Raleigh, NC on the 14th.

There are two choices of airports to take. Raleigh (RDU) is obviously convenient for the Nutrition conference (if people choose to attend that event) and is an hour and a half away from the hotel. Wilmington (ILM) airport is about 45 minutes from the hotel, but is 2 hours from Raleigh. So if people are just coming for the NCERA meeting I would recommend Wilmington, but if flying in for the NC nutrition conference I would recommend Raleigh.
IMPORTANT NOTE FROM MURPHY-BROWN: Additionally for the farm tour on Thursday afternoon, we will request a shower in/shower out policy. I understand this can be an inconvenience, but we would like to make it as hassle free as possible. So please inform the members of this requirement and if they like we will provide exact sizes of coveralls, undergarments, and boots. We do have a very large assortment of sizes out there now, but if any one requires anything particular please let me know or I will put them in contact with our Research Coordinator Daniel Sykes to get that arranged.
MDL comment: I would also suggest that all committee members be away from pigs for 48 hours prior to attending the meeting. I would hate for one of us to be responsible for introducing anything to the Smithfield/Murphy-Brown system
