In 2011, a Joint Annual Meeting is planned with WERCA039 and NCERA214, better known as the Western sheep research group and North Central sheep research group, respectively.

The 2010 NCERA-214 Annual Meeting will be held in Lexington, KY, from June 13-16. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Crowne Plaza Lexington at the Campbell House (859-255-4281) where you will experience true southern hospitality. You will also have complimentary high-speed internet access. The room rate per night will be $99 + tax for standard two (2) queen beds (single, double or triple occupancy). When making reservations, indicate you are with NCERA-214. Make reservations before Friday, May 14. If you are driving, the hotel address is 1375 S. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40504. There is complimentary on-site parking.

The official meeting will be held on the University of Kentucky campus in the E. S. Good Barn. This barn is the site of the first successful embryo transfer in cattle (Jersey) conducted by Dr. Durward Olds. The structure has been renovated to provide meeting rooms for groups like ours. It is located about 1 mile from the Campbell House and transportation will be provided.

The registration fee of $125.00 per person includes:

" Light hors doeuvres at the opening social (cash bar) " Juice, coffee, doughnuts for breakfasts " Soft drinks, coffee, snacks for breaks " Lunches on June 14 and 15 " Cook-out on June 14 (supper) " Van transportation

If you are flying into Lexingtons Blue Grass Airport, find the phone for local transportation. It is located near the baggage claim area. Call the extension for the Campbell House and they will provide complimentary transportation to the hotel. A wait of 15 to 30 min may be required.
