Additional Info:
This year's NCERA-210 meeting will be held in St. Paul, MN Nov. 19-20, 2008 following the University of Wisconsin Center for Cooperatives Farmers' Cooperative Conference.

The bulk of the meeting will be composed of presentations by chapter authors from the forthcoming edited (by Brent Hueth and Murray Fulton) volume titled, "Cooperative Conversions, Failures, and Restructurings: Case Studies and Lessons from U.S. and Canadian Agriculture." We have commitments from 16 authors to write chapters and expect that most of them will come to our meeting in November. These presentations will easily exhaust the time available in our normal afternoon and morning sessions. As a consequence, we would like to invite poster presenters for those who want to attend the meeting as participants, but who are not chapter authors for the book.

We will have the posters set up during the first afternoon session of our meeting, and we will set aside one half hour between paper presentations and our business meeting for poster authors to answer questions about their work. This format has worked well in previous years when there were more papers submissions than time available for presentations.

Please submit your (1-page) abstracts directly to Brent Hueth at hueth@wisc.edu by Sept. 1. They will be reviewed by our executive committee and you will be notified within 15 days regarding acceptance.

For more information and future updates, please check the NCERA-210 web site at: www.agecon.ksu.edu/accc/ncr210/default.htm. Previous abstracts as well as previous programs can be found on the website.
