- This is to confirm arrangements for the August 1-2, 2012 annual meeting of the NC-1172 research group in Minneapolis. Eleven people (Bowen, Cho, Devaney, Evans, Griesdorn, Gutter, Lown, Minton, Mauldin, Solheim, Worthy) have responded to the request to indicate their intention to attend the August meeting.
Based on that information, we have reserved a meeting room and a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Minneapolis Airport/Mall Area. 1601 American Blvd E., Bloomington, MN 55425. Hotel front desk is 952-854-1687. Rooms include a hot breakfast, complimentary Internet access, and complimentary 24 hour shuttle service to the MSP airport and the Mall of America. If you did not respond but would like to attend, please let us know asap. We have one spot left in the 10-person meeting room and can possibly add an additional chair or two at the table.
We will order box lunches (sandwiches and salads) for Wednesday and Thursday noon. Snacks and water/sodas will be available in the meeting room. I will bring a UM laptop and projector. We can shuttle to the Mall of American for Wednesday evening dinner. The registration cost is $58/person (covers meeting room charges, two lunches, snacks); please make checks payable to the University of Minnesota.
